The US trade union top leadership is out of step with the growing Boycott Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement in the world's trade unions against apartheid Israel.
The newly elected head of the AFL-CIO, Richard L. Trumka condemned the spreading campaign: "And tonight, let me tell you that, so long as I'm president, you will never have a stronger ally than the AFL-CIO.
