Whatever Obama's next move is toward Russia or China or Venezuela, it is clear we are still in the centre of an epoch of aggressive US economic and military imperialism. Given the AFRICOM militarization of Africa, the drone attacks in 4 countries, the NSA surveillance revelations, etc etc why has the whole analysis and critique of the danger of US imperialism been curtailed by the cpusa leadership since the Democratic Party presidential candidate was elected ?
Does this virtual silence on US imperialism serve the interests of the US or international working class and its allies?
In my opinion, the Obama Administration's actions show that the Marxists supporting the US Democratic party over-estimated the depth and progressive potential of both the Obama-for-president movement and the Obama presidency's trajectory.
