It is a convenient illusion for Silicon Valley billionaires for whom equality can be consigned to the good works of the Gates Foundation and social media is the limit of fraternity. No doubt there are exceptions, but any effort to reinvigorate the socialist movement has to recognize and challenge these limited conceptions of liberation."
