RUSSIA - Thousands take part in protest against corruption, cuts to public services and, in the case of the Rostov miners, non payment of wages. They are sustained by food convoys organised by the CP. The call was for prime minister Medvedev to resign. 14 white doves were released to mark the recent terrorist murders in St Petersburg.
