Obama today told the UN to stop blaming America and join him in fighting Iran and North Korea's nuclear programs and the war in Afghanistan. The U.S. leader urged world leaders against "an almost reflexive anti-Americanism, which too often... has served as an excuse for collective inaction."
COMMENT:
When the US Ruling Class stops leading global imperialism and war, the people will trust American Presidents. Trust is earned in politics.
Obama wants to present the United States immense national military power in a brand new manner from his predecessor. Rather than openly and transparently resting American global domination on military bullying, the new president spins the old tale about America's lauded values of democracy, free markets, and human rights.
However the actions of the USA under Obama as the preeminent imperial power have not changed. We are to be impressed instead by the new conciliatory "tone".
