'When the sixteen-year-old seamstress came before the magistrate in Czernowitz, she was invited to show why she had distributed tracts in which call was made for revolution, which brings imprisonment. As reply, she stood up and sang the Internationale. When the magistrate shook his head. she shouted: "Stand up! This is the Internationale!"
