The Trajectory of Obama Administration's interventions set early on by Hillary's Coup in Honduras 2009 Andrew Taylor

When you think about Obama's Decree against Venezuela as an extraordinary threat to the United States remember that on July 24, 2009 Fidel Castro wrote in his Reflection about the Hillary Clinton directed Coup against Mel Zelaya President of Honduras that Hillary 'ought to win a Nobel' for her "nifty idea" of having Arias work to consolidate an unconstitutional coup.

Fidel then predicted that as a direct result of this first Latin American coup of the Obama presidency "...now coup plotters are gearing up in Latin America's oligarchies, some of whom... are no longer shy about saying they support the coup, while US imperialism is trying to see what it can fish out of the waters of turmoil in Latin America," (Reflections of Fidel, July 24, 09)

The Obama presidency's final years close with seduction for Cuba and the stick for Venezuela. Raul Castro responded to Obama's threats to Venezuela saying that "the US needs to understand once and for all that it cannot seduce or buy Cuba, just as it cannot intimidate Venezuela". "Our unity is indestructible," he added.
But have no doubts the United States of America will continue its dual "Good Neighbour"/"Bad Cop" approach to the alliance of anti-imperialist countries.
